ADOBINVE, S.L. promotes energy innovation with the renewal of the aeration system in the homogenization tank at its effluent treatment plant

ADOBINVE has implemented a pioneering technological improvement to enhance the energy efficiency of its wastewater treatment plant. The project involved replacing 5 rotary piston blowers with 2 state-of-the-art blowers: turbo blowers with air foil bearing technology.

This innovative solution not only significantly reduces maintenance and required space, but also minimizes noise and optimizes energy consumption. Thanks to this action, an estimated annual saving of 780 MWh will be achieved, equivalent to avoiding the emission of 406 tons of CO₂ each year.

With this project, ADOBINVE reaffirms its active commitment to the fight against climate change and the transition towards a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable industry.

The project has been subsidized by the “Aid Program for Energy Efficiency Actions in SMEs and Large Companies in the Industrial Sector”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and managed by the Catalan Institute of Energy (ICAEN), with funds from the National Energy Efficiency Fund.
